Fast Fiber Optic Connection into the Apartment

With F2X® for network level 4 (FTTH connection) you will save a lot of time when scheduling on-site visits with the tenants, because you will have to be in the apartment just one single time. Splicing and measuring will be carried out from the basement of the apartment house so you can profit from our solution for direct fiber optic apartment connections. Our F2X® ONT offers space for up to 4 fibers – a requirement for state-funded network development. Our F2X® ONT can be adapted to your state-funded project, too.

1. Laying Cables

The ONT cable is blown in from the customer’s apartment or is installed in the cable duct. The ONT is mounted to the wall.

2. Splicing

The fibers are spliced in the basement of the building. There are several ways to connect them with network level 3.

3. Measuring

Measuring of the fiber optic link is carried out in the basement of the building, at the distribution cabinet or at the PoP, depending on the connection type.

Your advantage:

with our loop connector technology, you can measure both link directions from outside the apartment. This renders another visit to the end customer’s apartment as well as scheduling more appointments unnecessary.
